EFI Live .bin ↔ HP Tuners/EZ-Lynk .bin
Drop in a Duramax calibration BIN and convert it the other way. The tool auto-detects L5P or LML and EFI Live versus HP Tuners/EZ-Lynk (same file size and format), maps calibration regions, handles E41 / controller ID blocks, and verifies a round-trip before writing the output.

Auto-detect format
Recognizes L5P and LML by file size and content — AA 55 HP Tuners/EZ-Lynk headers or EFI Live E41 blocks — then shows engine, size, and calibration part numbers.
Both directions
Convert HP Tuners/EZ-Lynk → EFI Live or EFI Live → HP Tuners/EZ-Lynk. EZ-Lynk uses the same BIN size and layout as HP Tuners.
E41 / controller ID
L5P HPT→EFI can load a reference EFI file for E41 blocks or generate defaults. EFI→HPT saves a .e41.bin backup. LML uses the same idea for the controller ID block.
Round-trip check
After conversion, the app remaps the output back and compares calibration data so you know the file survived the trip.
License + updates
HWID-locked PAT-DMAX1 keys from the reseller portal. In-app Check Update downloads the latest installer from pat-update.com.

Requires a valid PAT-DMAX1 license from PAT or your reseller. Internet is required to activate and launch.

Help / FAQ
How do I activate the tool?
On first launch, copy the Hardware ID shown in the license window and send it to PAT or your reseller. Paste the PAT-DMAX1 key they issue and click Activate. The license is locked to that PC and verified online at every launch.
Why does it say HP Tuners/EZ-Lynk?
HP Tuners and EZ-Lynk use the same BIN size and layout for these Duramax files. A file from either tool is treated as the same format.
What is the E41 reference file for?
When converting L5P HP Tuners/EZ-Lynk → EFI Live, you can load a reference EFI Live BIN so the converter copies that file’s E41 controller ID blocks. If you skip it, default E41 blocks are generated. Going the other way writes a .e41.bin backup you can reuse later.
Does this include tunes or calibrations?
No. This is a file converter only. You supply your own BIN files and are responsible for having the rights to use and modify them.
How do I update?
Click Check Update in the app footer. If a newer version is listed in update.json, you can download and run the installer. The app closes when the installer starts.
